Pimples are the worst known face-charm intruders. All of us might are aware of how frustrating it is to have a single blister on our faces. You don’t wish to have one? Do you? The answer is obvious but what matters is how we are going to prevent them. Learn seven easy tips to avoid pimples or any hindrances on your face and skin.

Proper Food

                              Food is the main factor affecting your skin. Therefore, we must consider it all the times. Intake of healthy foods such as yellow and orange fruits, vegetables such as apricots, carrots, and sweet potatoes are highly beneficial for our skin. There are several other healthy foods such as spinach and other dark green and leafy vegetables, blueberries, tomatoes, brown rice, whole-wheat bread, quinoa, turkey etc. Avoid Dairy Products, Refined Grains and Sugar, Fast Food, foods Rich in Omega-6 Fats, chocolate.  And yes, avoid the foods that you’re sensitive to as well.

Proper Sleep

               Sleep deprivation affects collagen growth, skin texture and especially the skin hydration. Inflammation is also higher in sleep-deprived patients, causing outbreaks of acne, psoriasis, eczema, and skin allergies. Therefore, proper sleep is a must.

Trace your skin type and act accordingly

             Anyone can get pimples regardless of the skin type. Oily skin is the most pimple-prone. It’s caused due to the excess production of oily sebum by your skin’s sebaceous glands. A different kind of skin that may cause pimples is combination skin. Combination skin refers to the surface with both dry areas and greasy areas. The oily areas are your forehead, nose, and chin, also referred to as T-zone. After proper determination of skin type, you can choose perfect skincare products for your skin or avoid foods that are against your skin.

Stay hydrated

Dehydration causes the excess production of oil on your skin. It gives your skin a dull appearance and promotes inflammation and redness. 

To maintain hydration, drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of water every day. Drink more after workouts, if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, or you spend time in a hot and humid environment.

Avoid popping pimples

Popping pimples may result in bleeding, severe scarring, and infection. It may also increase inflammation and clog surrounding pores, which worsens your pimple more.

Wash your face properly

It’s essential to remove excess oil, dirt, and sweat daily to prevent pimples. Use alcohol-free cleansers and wash your face gently. Don’t ever rub your face harshly after washing. Leave your face for a specific time and apply towel gently. Do this at least twice or thrice every day.

Limit make-ups and sun exposure

Products nowadays have a lot of side effects, and excessive make-ups can ruin the charm of your skin. Make-ups are not always necessary, so try to avoid frequent use of it.

Sun exposure can have several effects based on the type of your skin. It causes dehydration can result in pimples sometimes. So, limiting sun exposure can be useful.
