Does sugar waxing hurt less than regular waxing on the arms?

For most clients, yes. Traditional wax bonds to both hair and skin, so removal can pull at the delicate skin of the inner arm and elbow crease. Sugar paste bonds mainly to the hair, not living skin cells, so it lifts hair with noticeably less discomfort. The paste is applied at body temperature, which removes the risk of hot-wax burns entirely, making full-arm sessions comfortable even if this is your first time.

What can I expect during a full-arm session?

A full-arm appointment covers wrist to shoulder and usually takes about 30 to 40 minutes. We work in small sections, keeping the skin taut and the hair captured cleanly.

How long do smooth arms last?

Because sugaring removes hair from the root, full-arm results typically last three to five weeks. With regular sessions, arm hair often grows back finer and sparser. Afterward, keep the area clean, avoid heavy sun for 24 hours, and exfoliate gently after a few days to prevent ingrown hairs. Sugar residue rinses away with plain water, leaving no sticky film.
